Halloween Carnival

Congratulations to the PSTA and the seniors who worked hard preparing our annual Halloween Carnival. It took place on Saturday, October 25th. Everybody had a lot of fun, with carnival games, prizes, food, costume contests, jumping castles and lots of spooky moments! It was a huge success for our school! Senior trip to Curazao

Grade Twelve Students spent six days (21-26 September) on the Island of Curacao carrying out field work for the Sciences Group Four Project and the Geography Internal Assessment. They also learned about marine biology, snorkeled and swam with dolphins. Please look at the photos of the trip.

Casa María

Grade Eleven students spent three days (September 24-26) at Casa Maria doing research on the quality of water in the area. They also investigated the quality and quantity of insect and animal life in and around the sources of water. Pictures of the event can be found here.

Lagunazo

CIC had its annual trip to Lagunazo on September 24-26. Students once again had the opportunity to experience new challenges and learn new skills in a unique and fun environment. Take a look at the photogallery.

Welcome Back BBQ

It was a great success with an excellent turnout from our community. We had an exciting volleyball game, Mr. Wilfredo did a lot of activities for the children, the food was superb and the concert by Mr. Pacheco and his band was amazing! Also, we had a CIC Band presentation, where our students showed their incredible music talent. Hats off to the PSTA! Great pictures can be found in our Gallery.

AYA - Casa Hogar Bambi

Congratulations to all the faculty and students for working hard in the Bambi Orphanage over the weekend. The work was very good and the teachers and students were all fully engaged. CIC during elections.

Based on the latest Ministry of Education ruling concerning school closings, there will NOT be school beginning tomorrow, NOVEMBER 19th through NOVEMBER 24th. School resumes on NOVEMBER 25th, TUESDAY. Buses will run on this day.

Congratulations Mrs. Sweeting!

The Elementary School gathered together to congratulate Mrs. Carmen Sweeting for being appointed to the position of Superintendent to be vacated upon Dr. Alan Benson's departure at the conclusion of this school year.

Dr. Benson talked to the students and told them about his departure and about Mrs. Sweeting's future role as a Superintendent of CIC.The students made cards, letters, wrote poems, and so on to wish her the best in her new position at CIC. More pictures can be seen here.
