The Uruguayan American School is the only school that offers a U.S. diploma which is recognized by both the Uruguayan educational authorities and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (S.A.C.S.) in the United States.With our Integrated Secondary Program, U.A.S. students have the unique opportunity to choose their academic orientation for tertiary studies beyond high school. We also offer the Advanced Placement program that allows advanced students to earn college credits while in high school. AP credits are valued highly during the college admissions process and widely-accepted university equivalents that allow exceptional students to complete the traditional U.S. four-year degree in only three years.
