International Schools

Colegio Karl C. Parrish School is a private, non-sectarian, non-profit elementary and secondary school that is open to children of all nationalities. The high school year runs from August to June with a total of 182 school days. The year is divided into 3 trimesters of 60 days each. Both the Colombian Bachillerato Program and American High School Program are available for students in grades 7-12. Many of the staff members are native English speakers and hold valid teaching certificates from either the United States of Canada. Approximately ninety nine percent of the faculty, Colombian and North American, hold degrees from the U.S., Colombia or Canada. Advanced degrees are held by thirty percent of the faculty. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) since 1968 and approved by the Colombian Ministry of Education.
