
Colegio Helvetia is a private bilingual Swiss school in Bogota, columbia. The school was founded in 1959 initially with only 49 students and 5 Swiss teachers, the school was then located in an old house in Carrera Septima. Four years later, the school relocated to its present location at Calle 128. In 1992, the school buildings were named national monument by the Colombian government. At present, Colegio Helvetia has a Dibi-Dabi (Kinder 1 to Grade 2) level, Primary level (grade 3 - 6) and High school level (grade 7 to grade 12). Each class has two sections, distinguised by German (A section) or French (B and C) section. The school also has two libraries, one for the Dibi-Dabi level and one for the other two levels. It has a gym, 2 soccer fields, 3 basketball courts and five volleyball courts.
