The British International College (Colegio Britanico Internacional) is a co-educational, Catholic, bilingual school (English-Spanish) offering a curriculum that meets the academic demand of both the International Baccalaureate Organization and the Colombian National programmes. Founded in 1981, it is the only School in Barranquilla, Columbia with a well established British cultural links and traditions. BIC teaches a very strong bilingual and academically rigorous programme with a popular and highly successful extra curricular activities. The teaching staff for the Early Years, Primary and Secondary levels are highly qualified teachers from the United Kingdom and elsewhere.
