
The British School in Rio de Janeiro is a non-profit, independent and co-educational day school. It offers a complete and coherent curriculum for British, Commonwealth, other expatriate and Brazilian pupils who benefits from an English language education. The school caters to pupils aged 2 to 18. It aims to give pupils a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated educational experience. The school's educational philosophy and practice is primarily British in nature with international and Brazilian elements incorporated where appropriate. The students acquire both Brazilian (Ensino Fundamental and Ensino Médio) and international qualifications.
