La Citadelle International Academy of Arts & Science is a bilingual private coeducational institution whose goal is to offer unique educational and instructional settings through which students learn and excel, in both English and French in a modern and technologically advanced multidisciplinary context. La Citadelle is a unique private school whose fundamental aim is to provide children with an exceptional well-rounded holistic education and a truly comprehensive modern and advanced instructional program in a unique multilingual environment within the Canadian experience. La Citadelle's solid reputation spans a little more than a decade now. Since its foundation in September 2000 with an initial 3 students, the school grew exponentially to accommodate 200 students from different cultural backgrounds. The school's ultimate goal is to create an institution where children are happy and proud to learn and to achieve. The school conforms to the curriculum guidelines set by the Ontario Ministry of Education and has initiated the process to obtain the accreditation of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization. It has a Kindergarten, Elementary and Secondary division and offers a curriculum that incorporates a broad range of study at every level.
