Academie Ste. Cecile International School (ASCIS) is an elementary and secondary school for day and resident students offering the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OAC/OSSD Programme), the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme as well as ESL, FSL and TOEFL courses. As part of the regular OSSD course of study and in fulfillment of the second language requirement of IB, ASCIS students study French grammar, conversation and literature. As a commitment to maintaining a high quality of education, there are no more than 15 students per class to better monitor their progress.
ASCIS campus is located on a 27-acre park-like setting in Windsor, Ontario Canada. The school was founded based on principles of the Roman Catholic Church. As such, it is committed to the ecumenical movement with great sensitivity to inter-faith discussion by respecting the religious and cultural diversity of students and faculty. It also aims to foster a learning community that will inspire academic excellence, promote individual achievement, value diversity, facilitate the development of the whole person and encourage respect and responsibility in students, staff, parents and community.
