A small school which takes pride in creating a personal and supportive environment for learning, preparing their students for universities and colleges in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, and elsewhere in Europe or Latin America. It is the school's goal that each student experience success at this level and also be ready to enter the next level of education successfully. ISA provides an American-based curriculum with an international dimension for children ages 3-19 that includes academics, the arts, activities, and athletics. Opportunities related to Aruban culture are also integrated into curriculum at both elementary and secondary levels. Additionally, the school puts an emphasis on community service as a graduation requirement, via student organizations' activities, and with teachers as models who are actively engaged in the community.
