
The Collège Alpin International Beau Soleil is a private school located in the middle of the Swiss Alps. Founded in 1910, Beau Soleil is one of the oldest Swiss establishments known worldwide and is currently owned and run by the third successive generation of the same family. The school provides a complete education to its students - intellectual, physical, emotional and social - in order to develop a sense of values among them and show the importance of personal effort and self-discipline. The three cornerstones of the school's education are: A balanced and personalised curriculum, a stable family community and an exceptional environment.
All programme of studies are taught in French or English. The French section (6th to Terminale level) are prepared for College examinations and French Baccalaureate L, ES and S while the International section (from Middle School to the 12th Grade) are prepared for the IGCSE, SAT, AP, TOEFL, High School Diploma and International Baccalaureate Diploma.
Beau Soleil is accredited by the Council of International School (CIS), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and has been designated an IB World School by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO).
In addition Beau Soleil is a member of GESBF (Groupement des Ecoles Suisses préparant le Baccalauréat Français) and authorised by the Academy of Grenoble to offer the French Baccalaureate.
