ICS was founded in 1980 and is a mixed, multi-national day school for students aged 3 to 18. It is an "international" school in every sense of the word. Currently on roll are approximately 600 pupils originating from 50 different countries and 62 teachers from 18 different countries, with the majority from the UK and USA. The school has a low student / teacher ratio (approximately 10 / 1) and an excellent academic record International College Spain (ICS) is an IB World School and is the leading international school in Spain offering all three IB Programmes: Primary Years Programme (since 1999), Middle Years Programme (since 1996) and the IB Diploma Programme (since 1980). The school is accredited by both CIS (Coucil of International Schools) and NEASC (New England Association for Schools and Colleges).
