Aloha College is an independent, co-educational day school for pupils aged 3 to 18 founded in 1982. It is situated on the outskirts of Marbella, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in Malaga, Spain. The School seeks to provide a safe, stimulating and happy environment in which all of the pupils can thrive. It was originally founded as a non-profit organization and is now a foundation which provides an international education for pupils of different nationalities. Aloha College has a primary and a secondary section which provides a bi-lingual English/Spanish education based on the English National Curriculum and on the Spanish National System. French and German are also offered at advanced levels. Secondary school students are offered courses leading to the IGCSE and the IB Diploma. The school has the latest facilities including four science labs, music room, library, art & design studio with photographic dark room and a new Astroturf pitch. It also has two state of the art computer laboratories including a school intranet. All students have access to the internet throughout the school and there is a laptop loan program available for the IB students. Aloha College also operates a bus service for transporting pupils to and from the school. All age groups enjoy educational visits in the course of the year throughout Andalucia and pupils can participate in an extensive after-school activities on most afternoons as well as in various sports teams. Admission is by interview and examination arranged through the Principal and the Head of Primary School. Aloha College also requires a copy of previous school reports and a school reference from all prospective pupils.
