Chartwell is a small school, whose aim is to provide a caring environment tailored to the academic and personal needs of each child. It is more than an academic institution. Its philosophy encompasses the student’s whole personality, and emphasises balanced development.
The school is situated in pleasant grounds in the peaceful Belgrade suburb of Dedinje, close to many embassies and residential areas. It lies some 10 minutes’ drive from the city centre.
The school’s program is an international one based on the British Cambridge curriculum. The content is drawn from the best of many national curricula, and taught through an international perspective similar to the International Baccalaureate approach. Chartwell works in association with a range of high schools, local and international, which follow a similar educational philospophy. Chartwell pupils can follow their schooling to Cambridge examinations wherever they go in the world.
Chartwell is a full member of COBISEC, and looking into becoming a member of ECIS.
