
The Anglo American High School in Belgrade was founded in February 2001 to accommodate the students who seek high school education and university preparation in the English language. The school is located in a quiet residential area of Dedinje, near downtown Belgrade. The faculty consists of highly qualified professionals with extensive teaching experiences in international schools. Children with special needs are offered an individual approach and special attention with the help of the school therapist who is always available for conseling.
The student body encompasses more than ten nationalities and is offered a choice of US-patterned or UK-style curriculum. An accredited US curriculum in cooperation with the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, USA is offered. Preparation is also available for the IGCSE, 'AS' and 'A' levels, and other examinations provided by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate. The school is fully certified and accredited as a Cambridge International Centre. Besides the core subjects, the school offers many after-school activities including various elective courses, music, clubs, field trips, study tours, international sport events, and participation in student government and community services.
The Anglo American High School in Belgrade is a purpose-built facility in a pleasant, bright building, equipped with a computer laboratory, library, canteen, a science lab, and multimedia room. The school is an associate CEESA member since it was founded in 2001.
