The Japanese School of Budapest is a coeducational day school catering to children of Japanese expatriates in Budapest, Hungary. The school opened its doors in 1976 and was originally known as the Budapest Japanese Supplementary Lessons School. In 1983, the school added a Junior High School level to enable its Primary School students continuity in their education.
The Japanese School currently shares facilities with the Viranyos Altalanos Iskola and is accessible to most public transport systems. A school bus (private contract) can take the pupils to and from the school.
