CSI Europole (Cité Scolaire Internationale Europole) is an international lycée (secondary school) located in Grenoble, France. It offers curricula in French, German, English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic. It is a public school and is generally considered to be one of the more reputable high schools in France, with strict admission procedures. In addition to rigorous academics, it enjoys a copious amount of partnerships with schools around the world with which it conducts exchanges.
The school was created as a response to the high influx of international residents to Grenoble. It is comprised of a middle school and a high school, providing an environment wherein the children of expatriates are able to continue their education where they left off in their respective nations. They are able to graduate with an International Baccalaureate diploma in any of the six languages offered. The McLuhan curriculum allows students of American origin to continue their education as though they were still in the United States. Admission to the CSI Europole is conducted in the sixth grade or (first year) of high school with an intensive language exam. Each year, a theatrical performance in English is performed by the CSI high schoolers in the Sainte Marie Theater. Additionally, German-section middle school students administer two plays every year. The school library's reading room is shared with the International Municipal Library of Grenoble.
