
Founded in 1948, International School of Prague (ISP) is an English-language school and is the only internationally accredited school in the Czech Republic. ISP is divided into an Early Childhood Center and Elementary, Middle and Upper Schools. It is a member of CEESA, the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
The school is housed in a purpose-built facility on the outskirts of Prague. The school can accomodate over 700 students and includes a library equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, four computer laboratories equipped with Macintosh computers, four science labs, two gyms, a theater, cafeteria, playgrounds, open basketball and tennis courts and two soccer fields. All classrooms are networked with access to the Internet. The ISP faculty is composed of highly qualified and well-trained professionals committed to creating a humanistic environment where every student can feel secure to meet all the challenges of the school's academic life. The school is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the IB Diploma Programme.
