Ecole Internationale le Verseau opened in September 1969. It was founded by Madam van der Straten who wished to create a place of education and teaching in an environment open to various cultures and privileged with the languages, sciences, the artistic activities, fostering creativity and personal awareness. The schools mission is for the students to become self-aware and independent and to enable them to be recognized as a responsible individual in the society. The students are taught to have a space of freedom and encourages them to become positive-thinkers which provides for an important foundation for confidence-building towards building an individual's personality.
