
The International School of Brussels (ISB) is an English-language day school providing an international education to students from over 60 countries, within the age range of 3 to 18. It is situated on a 40 acre wooded campus about 9 kilometres from the city center, in the Watermael Boitsfort commune of Brussels. The school is known to offer an education for the children of international diplomats and business people who have moved to Brussels. Founded in 1951, the school is a non-profit organization and is run by a board of trustees that include a number of parents.
The school's curriculum incorporates international standards of excellence and provides a structure where each child can flourish, grow in understanding and move confidently on to higher education and to a career. With a student to teacher ratio of less an 10:1, backed by highly-trained and dedicated staff and supported by cutting-edge technology, ISB graduates get to continue to higher education in foremost universities and colleges all over the world.
