Glenunga International High School (GIHS) is a comprehensive secondary school devoted to learning. Students, their parents and teachers, participate in pursuing excellence in educational outcomes. The school has an academic tradition, which can be traced back to the 19th century - from Adelaide Technical High School it developed a reputation for educational excellence to become among the top public schools in South Australia in terms of academic performance. The school serves the surrounding Unley, Burnside and Hills suburbs and is the only public school in the state to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. It also offers the South Australian Certificate of Education in the senior school, Ignite Program for students with high intellectual potential and an Intensive English Course for overseas students.
