Founded in 1983, the American School of Bangkok (ASB) is a private Pre-kindergarten through Grade 12 international school. It is one of the oldest and top international school sin Thailand. The school offers an American Curriculum with an international perspective. The Advance Placement (AP) Program is also available. ASB is licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education, and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The school is a member of the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS), and the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT). The school has two campuses: the Sukhumvit Campus and the Bangna Campus. Boarding facilities are also available at the Bangna Campus. There are approximately 80 qualified and certified teaching staff, predominantly from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, etc. The school is committed to providing the best possible educational opportunities for all of the students within a positive, warm, and caring environment. The facilities include computer labs, swimming pools, a soccer field, a basketball court, tennis courts, a gymnasium, an auditorium, music rooms, libraries, playgrounds, among others.
