International Schools

The mission of the Taipei European School is to provide educational excellence and European culture and values within the context of a Taiwanese society. The Taipei European School has attracted worldwide attention with its unique model of education. It now comprises the original Taipei British School (TBS), the Ecole Francaise de Taipei and the Deutsche Schule Taipei schools and a recently established High School. These three schools were established in the 1990s and joined forces to establish a combined European campus, sharing facilities and resources while teaching their own respective national curricula. Taipei European School is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to deliver the Diploma programme, and is classed as an IB World School. TES is also a member of FOBISSEA (Federation of British International Schools in South East Asia and affiliated to AEFE (Agence pour l'Enseignement Francais a l'Etranger), and BVA-ZfA (Bundesverwaltungsamt-Zentralstelle fuer das Auslandsschulwesen).
