Dover Court Preparatory School is registered with the Ministry of Education as an international preparatory school for the children of expatriates. It is owned and managed by International Preparatory Schools (Pte.) Ltd., a company incorporated in the Republic of Singapore. Both the school and the company were founded more than twenty five years ago by the current Chairman, Mr. Ernest Alliott, a former British Government Headmaster in Singapore. Currently there are 900 students on roll encompassing some 57 different nationalities. The academic school year starts in late August and ends in June. The aim of the school is to provide an education of the highest order that promotes maximum academic, social, spiritual and physical development and raises an aesthetic awareness, thus enabling all students to grow into individuals who are capable of living in and contributing to a social world. Dover Court Preparatory School is divided into the following departments: Infant Department (Nursery - Year 2) with an age range of 3 to 7 years old, Junior Department (Year 3 - Year 6) with an age range of 7 to 11 years old, and Senior Department (Year 7 - 9) with an age range of 11 to 14 years old.
