The Beacon School is an independent, non-profit, co-educational school modeled upon the best international educational practice. It is committed to providing a global education of the highest quality, rooted in an understanding of Filipino culture and traditions, to children of all nationalities. The Beacon School aims to maximize the potential of every child through an active partnership between children, teachers and parents.
The school offers an educational programme which aims to meet the needs of both the Filipino and international communities and to produce children who are actively engaged in the pursuit of knowledge, and who are confident and capable of creative and critical thought. Beacon's curriculum is based on the International Baccalaureate Primary Years and Middle Years Programmes and has recently became the first school in the Philippines to be authorized by the I.B. Office to offer the Primary Years Programme for pre-school to Grade 5, in addition to being a candidate school currently seeking I.B.O. authorization to implement the Middle Years Programme for Grades 6 to 8.
The Beacon School has also been recognized and validated by the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) for the Elementary School Programme (pre-school - Grade 8), making it easier for students to transfer into Beacon from local Philippine Schools and vice-versa.
The Beacon School is located in the tree-lined grounds of the Philippine Center for Population and Development situated in Chino Roces Avenue Extension, Taguig, Metro Manila.
