Fairview International School, an education institution registered with the Ministry of Education, Malaysia, was established in 1978 with the aim to provide young people from the age of four with an education of the highest standard using English as the medium of instruction. Since its inception, Fairview has created a strong presence as a reputable international school in the Asian region. With an initial enrolment of just 29 students, today, the School is a home away from home to 800 students from close to 40 different nations a definitive indication of spread market segmentation within the expatriate community. Fairview follows the British curriculum, culminating in the preparation for the University of London GCE O Levels examinations. Over the last 10 years, Fairview has achieved and maintained sustainable and excellent academic track records with 100 pass rate for GCE O Levels examinations. On average, one out of every three Fairview candidates obtains 5As and above. Co-curricular activity is a compulsory activity for every Fairview student in Junior and Middle School. Held during school hours, the students spend 2 hours per week in the CCA of their choice including but not limited to Speech and Drama, Computer Club, Science Olympiad, Music Club (Fiddle Mania), Dance Society and Art.
