K. International School Tokyo is a private, co-educational, secular day school serving the international community of Tokyo from pre-K to Grade 9. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum in English in a multi-cultural environment that prepares students for life-long learning. Priority is placed on assisting students to gain self-confidence, communication skills and leadership abilities that will benefit them throughout their lives. In partnership with this is the school's aim of educating the whole person to help students to be outstanding citizens with an understanding of the world around them. The kindergarten and primary school are authorized to deliver the Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate Organisation. This framework complements the intercultural ethos of the school. The junior high school is authorized to offer the Middle Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate Organisation. K.
