Yokohama International Christian Academy (YICA) is a K-12 Co-ed independent school that aims to create a positive, Christian-centered environment to help each student build self-confidence, foster self-empowerment, develop mutual respect and understanding, as well as to emphasize self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and responsible citizenship. If the student needs reinforcement where there are learning gaps, YICA can create a customized subject to help him/her do just that. Similarly, if the student is advanced, YICA will place him or her in the appropriate level for each subject. The indoor gymnasium and swimming pool facilities provide the ideal environment for our student's physical development. YICA can customize a series of courses to meet the student's educational needs. Students can enroll at any time of the year and don't have to wait for a traditional school year to start or end in order to enroll for a new class.
