
The Surabaya European School is a private, international, coeducational day school utilizing the British National Curriculum which is divided into two Key Stages. Key Stage One (5 to 7 year olds) and Key Stage Two (7 to 11 year olds). The core subjects are: English, Mathematics and Science, plus Information Communication Technology (I.C.T.), Religious Education, History, Geography, Music, Art, Physical Education and Design Technology. In all areas of the Curriculum SES emphasise effort, personal achievement and co-operation.
SES regularly re-assess and modify our schemes of work to take into account educational developments, and relevance to our Asian setting, always bearing in mind that our aim is to provide a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum.
After school activities, such as swimming, football, raquet sports, Mandarin, drama, art and our student newspaper 'The Surabaya Snooper', provide the children with a variety of new skills and experiences. Every activity is run by teachers of the school and members of our school community.
