India International School (IIS), a venture of Abhyudaya Educational Trust is situated on the 30 acre campus on Sarjapur Road in Bangalore, India. The Academic block is built on 10 acres of land, keeping aside 20 acres for grounds, front lawn, swimming, tennis, cricket, volleyball and basket ball. The first academic block has finished construction and the school will be shifting to the new premises. IIS school is the only one to promote national games like Kho-Kho and Kabaddi.
IIS has been operational since June 2002 and imparts interactive curriculum with state-of-the-art facilities of international standards. Keeping with its objective of imparting quality education and overall development of the child, the school has grown form strength to strength in its student and teacher numbers as well as in sports and extra-curricular activities. IIS have also started its boarding services exclusively catering to the boys.
Nested among natural opulence of greenery, IIS attracts tranquility and serenity for students to concentrate in their studies. The infrastructure of the new school is large enough to house students with 57 classrooms in academic block. Presently, 15 classrooms are operational with 39 teaching and non-teaching staff. The classrooms are very spacious and airy and a maximum strength of 20 - 25 students per class will be maintained.
There is a separate block used as computer, Science, math and language labs. The language lab and the math lab are unique labs per se in the whole of Karnataka. An amphitheatre with a library block that can seat 1200 people is also under construction. There are ten big and small 50 seater buses and two 40 seater buses to transport children from any part of Bangalore.
The School campus provides an apt environment for exponential learning. The classrooms are spacious and well equipped and the school is resourced with modern and well-maintained facilities.
