GEAR Foundation is promoted by a group of committed and passionate professionals in the field of education. The Founder President M Srinivasan is a Gifted and Talented Education Technologist with a rich experience spanning over 20 years in institutions worldwide. During his study for a Masters Degree in Gifted and Talented Education at the National Research Centre on Gifted & Talented, University of Connecticut, USA, he perfected his school model, viz. The School Beyond Walls that is now accredited as a partner model of LWF-UNESCO by synthesizing various researches and successful practices in the field of Gifted & Talented Education and studying the status and demands of education in India. Srinivasan's vision is to establish the GEAR Ed Village campus consisting of The Innovative International (Day / Boarding) School (Beyond Walls), a talents research institute, and a super talents center and develop the gifts and talents of every child through his education model called CIPE - Creative, Inventive & Productive Excelment. His vision is to create a learning community, which will adopt cutting edge strategies, state of the art technologies and be rooted to unique values of ones culture. With his experience of the Indian Education System as a House Master at the Sainik School, Tilaiya, as the Senior Teacher at YPS Chandigarh, and as the Founder Vice-Principal of the Rotary Public School, Gurgaon and varied International Models of Education, he has developed an insight into motivating children to realizing their gifts and talents; developing teaching-talents and motivating/training teachers to be innovators and partners in his vision of educating a child has stood him in good stead. Interaction with professionals at the University of Connecticut and ten years at the Staff Training Centre, The Palace, Salalah has given him good exposure to international trends in teaching. His Membership of many organizations worldwide has enabled Srinivasan to bring to the GEAR Foundation a truly unique and global outlook.
