International Schools

Parkview International Pre-School is a coeducational day school in Hong Kong providing education to according to the developmental needs of each age group from 1 to 4 years (Playgroup to Upper Kindergarten). A Mandarin teacher visit classrooms twice per week to give the children some exposure to putonghua. Classes at Parkview International Pre-School are Bilingual Mandarin/English from Playgroup through to Upper Kinders. A Mandarin and English teacher work collaboratively to expose the children equally to both languages. Children attend music class twice per week for 30 minutes. These music classes are conducted in English by a Music Specialist teacher. The children also spend 30 minutes a day in our large outdoor playground to develop gross motor skills by running, jumping, riding bikes, sliding etc. In addition teachers conduct a 30 minute Physical Education class each week. The playgroup allows young children an introduction to school life with the comfort of a familiar adult. The school's qualified teacher provides age appropriate activities and facilitates learning and social play among the children. Class rooms are large and bright and is conducive for learning. The school haa a large music and movement room, a library, a computer room, a cooking room and a large outside playground. The playground is one of the largest on Hong Kong island with a sand pit, climbers, slides, an area for bikes and an under cover area.
