Christian Alliance P.C. Lau Memorial International School (CAIS) is an independent, non-profit, K-12 Christian international school that is owned and operated by the Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance (KTAC) in Hong Kong. It is one of fifteen schools run by the KTAC in Hong Kong. Altogether, the KTAC provides schooling for more than 10,000 students.
A School Management Committee (SMC), whose purpose is to ensure that the School is properly run, is appointed by the KTAC Board of Deacons.
CAIS began operation in September 1992 with an enrollment of approximately 40 students from grade 7 to grade 11. Grade 12 was introduced the following year and the enrollment increased to nearly 90 students. Primary grades 1 to 6 joined the school in 1995 and, in 1996, a kindergarten was added. CAIS accommodates an enrolment of approximately 475 students from more than 20 different countries and is represented by a diverse mix of cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.
The School is registered with Saskatchewan Learning and utilizes the Core Curriculum of the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada except for Grade 10. The diverse liberal arts curriculum of Saskatchewan Learning provides the foundational objectives, strategies for achievement and guidelines for evaluation of students from Kindergarten to grade 12.
