
The Australian International School of Beijing (AISB) was established in 2004. Its campus is a 35-hectare lawns and gardens and can accomodate 500 students, situated in the Eastern Chaoyang district, approximately 30 minutes from the CBD and 15 minutes from the International Airport. The school campus has a large football or soccer field, multiple basketball courts, tennis courts, a 400-meter professional running track, laboratories, dance studio, piano rooms and computer laboratories. It is the only school in Beijing that offers education patterned after the Australian curriculum. Australian curricula is world-renowned because it is focused on values and attitudes, designed to develop the whole child socially, physically and emotionally.
The school also has a range of extra-curricular programmes, designed to meet the individual's needs and aspirations of students.
