
Utahloy International School of Guangzhou (UIS-GZ) is an international school in Guangzhou, China established in August 1997. It is located inside the Golden Lake Estate, approximately 10 km north of the city proper. It is a private non-profit school that offers curriculum for primary school to high school level and authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the Middle Years Programme and the International Baccalaureate Programme. The school caters to the educational needs of expatriate children in Guangzhou and was recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education in 1998 with curriculum instructions given in English. The school is also involved in the ACAMIS league, which is a league that holds sports competitions between international schools in China and Mongolia, mathematics competitions, cultural conventions, and other activities. The school is also a member of the Council of International Schools. It runs under the aegis of the Utahloy Education Foundation, a non-profit Hong Kong based foundation.
School facilities include a huge hall, audio-visual room, library, design and technology room, art room, music room, a science laboratory and networked computers. The school campus is equipped with a playground with fixed playground equipment on a landscaped play area plus basketball courts.
