The British School of Guangzhou was established in 2005 after the success of its sister school The British School of Beijing. The school is UK owned and managed and governed by an Executive Board of Directors. It focuses on providing the high education standards and levels of spoken/written english in classrooms following the English National Curriculum. The school employs highly qualified teaching staff worthy of the responsibility entrusted upon them. The purpose-built campus can accomodate a maximum of 450 students equipped with its own theater, gym, nursery and junior school playgrounds. Classes starts from late August to late June for a total of 190-day academic year.
