The International School of Brunei is a fully accredited international school in Borneo with students from 30 different nationalities representing a broad variety of cultural backgrounds. JIS curriculums enhances flexible learning, team building and leadership skills with strong emphasis on technology and languages as well as traditional electives in Sciences, Arts and Humanities. One of the school's most important aim is to prepare its students to be global citizens while at the same time stressing the importance of their own cultural heritage. JIS curriculum is derived from the English national system divided into three levels: Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary, with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma program offered since 2001. The school is a proud member of the Federation of British Schools in South and East Asia (FOBISSEA), the Council of International Schools and the International Baccalaureate Organization.
