Dakar Academy, founded in 1961 and owned by United World Mission, Assemblies of God, and World Venture, formerly known as Conservative Baptist or CBI, is a college preparatory, co-educational boarding and day school primarily for missionary children in kindergarten through grade 12. Dakar Academy Boarding Program is a Candidate for Accreditation with the Association of Christian Schools International. Dakar Academy has over 250 students in its academic program.
Dakar Academy is located on a six-acre campus in Dakar, the capital city of Senegal, and is situated in a quiet, residential area. The 6-acre campus of Dakar Academy adequately meets the needs of K–12 boarding school.
The fundamental purpose of the Academy is to provide for missionary children and other children as space permits, quality primary and secondary education from an evangelical Christian perspective utilizing curricula compatible with American school systems, and boarding for missionary children, as set forth by the Board of Directors.
